To get to the Colony of Avalon:
From St. John’s, take Route 2 (Pitt’s Memorial Drive). Take Exit 3 towards Commonwealth Ave., St. John’s, Goulds. Turn left onto HeavyTree Road/Route 3 South. After 9.7 kms, Route 3 will turn into Route 10 S/ Southern Shore Highway. Continue on Route 10 S until you reach Ferryland, approx. 57 kms. Look for the Colony on your left, just past Holy Trinity Church. Our GPS coordinates are 47.0228, -52.879.
